The Lucid Gravity is a shockingly fun electric crossover. It rips on dirt roads. So, Lucid’s leaning in to its SUV's rowdy nature with this: The Gravity X concept, which the automaker is debuting this week during Monterey Car Week. By all accounts, this is a Lucid off-roader.
Based on the 824-horsepower Gravity Grand Touring, the Gravity X Concept gets new front and rear fascias with integrated tow hooks, a suspension lift, wider tracks, skid plates, orange accents, body cladding, and knobby all-terrain tires.
The new fascias plus the lift improve the Gravity’s approach and departure angles, and while this doesn’t turn it into a rock crawler, it should help with trickier terrain. Lucid also added a roof box with integrated LED lights, perfect for the overlanding set.
Inside, there are lots of orange accents to match the exterior, and a microsuede steering wheel. This one is also a three-row, so you can take your whole family with you to go slide around on dirt roads.
Lucid doesn't have any plans to produce the Air X yet, but we could see a version in the future.
