The Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport is set to return in 2027, featuring General Motors’ next-generation LS6 V8 engine. This naturally aspirated 6.7-liter engine delivers 535 horsepower and 520 pound-feet of torque and will also be the standard engine in the 2027 Stingray. The LS6 includes forged pistons, revised exhaust manifolds, and a new lubrication system, with a 13.0:1 compression ratio and a 95-millimeter throttle body. The Grand Sport comes with an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, Magnetic Ride Control, a touring suspension, and Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. Optional features include a center-exit exhaust, and performance packages offer enhanced tires and braking systems.

Chevrolet is also introducing the Grand Sport X, which replaces the E-Ray and features the LS6 engine paired with a front-axle electric motor, producing a combined 721 horsepower. This surpasses the E-Ray by 66 horsepower and the Z06 by 51 horsepower. The GSX includes Magnetic Ride Control, carbon-ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season 4 tires, with an optional Performance Pack for improved tires. A Grand Sport Launch Edition will offer unique interior features and exclusive badges. While the exact sale date and pricing are not yet disclosed, the Grand Sport is expected to arrive at dealers this summer, potentially priced around $90,000, positioned between the Stingray and Z06 models.
