A pair of Porsche 963 race cars will feature a special Apple Computer livery at Laguna Seca, honoring the design worn by the 1980 Porsche 935 K3 at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. This livery also celebrates two 2026 milestones: Porsche’s 75th anniversary and Apple’s 50th anniversary. The design includes Apple’s iconic logo on the roof and bold colors on the fenders, hood, bumper, and fin. The Porsche 963s will compete in the GTP class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship on May 3. Apple’s vice president highlighted the long-standing relationship between the two companies, dating back to 1980, and expressed pride in continuing their collaboration with a design that pays tribute to the original livery.
