Liberty Walk just dropped a widebody Dodge Challenger kit finished in warplane gray. The car leans on the brand's LB-WORKS formula: flared fenders, ground-scraping stance, and enough attitude to make a stock Hellcat look shy.

This particular build started life as an early third-generation Challenger, the same basic package Dodge sold with V6 and V8 power from the 2008 to 2024 model years. Liberty Walk kept the muscle car's bones and rebuilt everything around them, chasing a look the brand's own fans compare to a fighter jet parked at the curb.

Widebody Kit And Fighter Jet Look

The kit itself is the LB-WORKS Dodge Challenger package, and Liberty Walk lists it as a complete body conversion rather than a work in progress. It bundles front and rear wide fenders, a front lip, an open-vent hood, and a three-piece ducktail spoiler, all riveted on in the brand's signature exposed-bolt style rather than blended smooth.

On this specific car, the fenders stretch over black wheels finished in a Y-spoke design. Ride height comes from an adjustable air suspension setup, so the Challenger can drop for photos and rise back up for cruising.

Liberty Walk built its name on this playbook: take a familiar shape, exaggerate its width and stance, then bolt everything down where you can see it. This method has shifted how we view widebody kits and resale value. While a clean build enhances a car's presence, it does not guarantee a higher selling price.

Base Dodge Challenger Generation And What Stays Stock

Under the skin, Liberty Walk did not touch the car's structure to make the fenders fit. It bolted the widebody arches onto the existing body, a method the brand uses across its catalog rather than a one-off trick for this car.

The stock Challenger lineup ranged from a V6 base model up to the SRT Hellcat's 700-plus horsepower, and the top Demon 170 variant pushed 1,025 horsepower with a quarter mile of 8.91 seconds and a 0 to 60 mph time of 1.66 seconds. Liberty Walk's own demo car keeps things closer to street duty, running a custom variable-valve exhaust instead of chasing Demon-level output.

Motor1's Take: Liberty Walk's fighter-jet Challenger proves the LB-WORKS formula still grabs attention while keeping the car's mechanicals intact. That important if you want show-stopping looks without losing daily drivability. Check fitment, ground clearance and how the air ride handles rough roads.
