The Chrysler 300 Could Return. And It Might Look Like This

Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell hints at a production car 'inspired by' the Halcyon Concept.

Remember the Chrysler Halcyon concept? The futuristic four-door debuted last year and was loosely based on the production Dodge Charger EV. The concept was intended to preview the brand's “future design language,” but it could now officially reach production as a replacement for one of Chrysler's most beloved cars.

Speaking to the Detroit Free Press, Chrysler CEO Chris Feuell hinted at a production version of the Halcyon—or at least, something “inspired by” said concept. More interestingly, the report notes that a production Halcyon could act as a sort of replacement for the 300 sedan, which ended production in 2023.

"I believe the car segment is ripe for growth and resurgence," Feuell noted, saying that she has a "high level of confidence in [Chrysler’s] road map and ability to launch these products."

This coincides with reports from earlier in the year suggesting that the Halcyon would spawn a production car and SUV. Alongside those two new vehicles, the Pacifica will also undergo a thorough refresh for the 2026 model year. You can expect to see the updated minivan sometime later in 2025.

What do you think?

If the Halcyon reaches production, it would likely use the same architecture as the Dodge Charger EV. The current Charger has a 400-volt electric architecture with a 100.5-kilowatt-hour battery pack yielding up to 670 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. The most powerful Scat Pack gets 260 miles of range on a single charge, while the base R/T gets 317 miles between charges.

There's still plenty we don't know about the Chrysler Halcyon—like when the production version could show up. Our best guess is sometime closer to 2027. But, expect to have more details before the end of the year.
