Before AMG became Mercedes-Benz’s performance division, the two companies were already collaborating on the creation of special models. Among them is the Mercedes G-Class 500 GE V8 AMG, introduced in 1993 and built in just 446 examples. One of these, now heading to auction, was ordered by the Saudi prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud with numerous customizations.
