The last Porsche 911 Dakar is even more special
It is called the Sonderwunsch 911 Dakar and represents the last produced example of the high-set sports car
With only 2,500 units produced, the Porsche 911 Dakar represents one of the most exclusive versions of the German coupé ever produced. Raised suspension, front and rear wing guards, oversized wheel arches and much more. A 911 to go where the tarmac ends, without fear of getting stuck.
Now the time has come for the production stop, with the delivery of example number 2,500. The most special of all, not so much because the 911 Dakar will say goodbye afterwards, but because of the very special aesthetic characterisation.
Germany - Italy
Commissioned by an Italian collector, the Porsche 911 Dakar Sonderwunsch (this is the full name of the model meaning "special request") is characterised by a three-tone colour scheme, with a hand-painted Signal Yellow, Blu Genziana metallic and Blu Lampedusa (created with the collaboration of the customer), recalling the 1984 Paris-Dakar winner.

The personalisation doesn't end there: the rims pick up on the Signal Yellow hue of the bodywork, with a Lampedusa Blue profile, which is also found in the ring surrounding the LED matrix headlights. This is completed by the Rallye Design package.
The interior of the Porsche 911 Dakar Sonderwunsch picks up on the colour theme of the bodywork: yellow for stitching and decorative stripes on the dashboard, centre console, door panels, "911 Dakar" lettering on the seat headrests and a leather insert on the PDK gear selector. Completing the list of special equipment is the Sonderwunsch logo projected on the ground by the front lights when the door is opened.
Nothing, however, has been changed on the mechanical side: the set-up has been raised by 60 mm, specific guards and the 3.0-litre twin-turbo 6-cylinder boxer with 480 PS and 570 Nm remains in place.
Before ending up in the hands of its owner, the special 911 Dakar will make a stop at the Porsche Museum.
