Photos of one of the most anticipated cars of the year have surfaced the Internet. So far we have seen numerous leaks of the Porsche 918 Spyder, with the latest one coming from the trademark office. The photos seem to match the most recent leak featuring hidden door handles.
As a reminder, the 918 Spyder will probably feature a V8 4.6-liter engine producing 580 hp (432 kW) and 369+ lb-ft (500+ Nm) of torque. It will run together with two electric motors capable of developing an additional 245 hp (183 kW), enabling Porsche's flagship model to provide a combined output of about 795 hp (593 kW) and 575 lb-ft (780 Nm) of torque. 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) should take 3.2 seconds, with a top speed estimated at 199 mph (320 km/h).
It will be available on preorder this September for a starting price of 768,026 EUR.
