BMW has announced plans to offer an M3 Lime Rock Park Edition in the United States. It features a Fire Orange exterior with carbon fiber accents and a titanium exhaust system.
BMW has announced plans to offer an M3 Lime Rock Park Edition in the United States.
Named after the historic racing circuit, the special edition was jointly-developed with Skip Barber. As such, it features a Fire Orange exterior with carbon fiber accents and a titanium exhaust system.
Interior changes are limited, but the cabin has a flat-bottom steering wheel, Nappa leather trim and an individually-numbered plaque on the center console.
The model is also equipped with the Competition package which includes electronic dampers and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Power comes from a 4.0-liter V8 engine that produces 414 hp (309 kW / 420 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque. It enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and hit a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
Production will be limited to 200 units and pricing starts at $70,995.
