Aston Martin has announced plans to offer the Cygnet in Japan and Hong Kong.
Available early next year, the city car will be priced from 4,750,000 YEN and $603,578 HKD. This princely sum rewards buyers with a rebadged Toyota iQ that has a bespoke interior with leather seats, an Alcantara headliner and GPS navigation.
Under the hood, the Cygnet has a 1.33-liter four-cylinder engine with 97 hp (72 kW / 98 PS) and 125 Nm (92 lb-ft) torque. It is connected to a six-speed manual transmission which enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 11.8 seconds and hit a top speed of 170 km/h (106 mph). In terms of efficiency, owners can expect to average 56.5 mpg UK (47 mpg US / 5 L/100km) with CO2 emissions of 116 g/km.
