Here we have more spy shots of the Opel Corsa OPC Nürburgring Edition doing some final testing in and around the famed German circuit. At the wheel and under the helmet is Opel's top test driver, Volker Strycek.
Special to the Nürburgring Edition of the Corsa OPC will be a stiffer and lower suspension, a leather interior finish with carbon fiber trim, a new front splitter, lightweight wheels and Brembo brakes.
The larger, dual round-piped exhaust replacing the single, centrally mounted triangular one of the current standard OPC would probably be considered an aesthetic improvement by most.
Likely to remain is the 1.6 liter turbocharged power plant producing 192 PS (141 kW) and 230 Nm (266 Nm with overboost) of torque.
