Hyundai has released the first image teasing the new ix20 that will be unveiled at the forthcoming Paris Motor Show at the end of this month.

The B-segment vehicle looks to shed the boxy MPV look in favour of a sportier rounded design.  The ix20 is the second model in the manufacturer's lineup to adopt Hyundai’s new ‘fluidic sculpture’ design language.

The ix20 will go on sale during the fourth quarter of 2010.

Accompanying the ix20 under the lights of Paris will be the facelifted i10 which will be introduced to a new 1.0-liter engine with emissions of 99g/km.
