Brandon Turkus is the Managing Editor at Motor1.com and a 17-year veteran of the auto industry. A metro Detroit native, he got his start working for an automotive logistics company responsible for organizing vehicle loans to media. In 2010, he jumped to automotive journalism and has held editorial positions at Winding Road, Autoblog, The Car Connection, Motor Authority, and Green Car Reports. He was also a freelance contributor to Motor1.com.

Turkus joined Motor1.com in May 2018 and has led the publication's review and feature coverage, as well as the on-the-ground team at auto shows across the United States. In his spare time, he enjoys driving, video games, and cooking (although not at the same time). His personal vehicle is an oft-neglected 2006 Mini Cooper S that he swears he's going to drive next summer.
