The XC40 can be had with a powered hatch that raises itself at the touch of a button on either the dashboard or your key fob. When you're done, closing it is equally as simple; you just press a button on the underside of the hatch to close. But there's a second button there that most vehicles with a hatch don't have. It's the hatch lock button, which in addition to closing the hatch, also locks all of the doors. It's a small thing, but it saves you from having to pull your key out to the lock doors when your hands are full from having unloaded the cargo area.
