Now for something a little different, by which we mean a lot different. This vintage 1965 Jeep Wagoneer is a seriously sweet off-road restomod that appears properly vintage with its original steel body, but belies just how much work has been done underneath. For starters, the wheelbase is five inches longer, and it wears custom fender flares to accept the requisite knobby off-road tires. The wheel wells are actually reshaped to help the tires fit, and the bumpers are reshaped as well. It carries integrated rock rails, and the frame is boxed for added strength. That helps the Wagoneer cope with a new 5.7-liter V8 engine and four-speed automatic transmission.
