Few Ford vehicles are as iconic as the legendary RS200. Introduced in 1984, the Group B rally car lived a short but successful life, cementing itself as one of the most recognized cars ever to take to the stages of the World Rally Championship (WRC). Given its rarity, of which only 250 road cars were ever produced, finding one today in near new condition isn’t exactly an easy task.

Luckily, a pristine Ford RS200 showed up for sale on eBay in Alfreton, Derbyshire, England, with just 1,760 miles (2,832 kilometers) on the odometer. That's right, less than 2,000 miles (3,218 kilometers). The car is completely original - down to the tires - and though it has changed hands three different times, it retains that low mileage and like-new look.

The white exterior with blue stripes were delivered straight from the factory, as was the noticeable wheel gap in the front fender - one of the big factors that makes this car suitable for the rally stage. The interior looks almost untouched, with the leather seats and plastic dash showing virtually no signs of wear or tear. Add to that the original bill of sale.

Pop the hood, and the 1.8-liter Cosworth engine remains in working condition as it did in 1985. Brand new, this RS200 was good for 250 horsepower (186 kilowatts) - though, due to disuse, might need a tune up and a fresh tank of gas before it’s truly road ready.

Whatever the case, it’s a stunning vehicle, and one of the lowest mileage examples available on the used market. If you’re interested, the eBay classified ad has it listed at £174,995 ($228,175).
