This Corvette Z06 is ready for the show floor... or the track.

You can pick up a brand new, 650-horsepower (484 kilowatt) Chevrolet Corvette Z06 for about $80,000, if you’re lucky. But even brand new from the factory, the car won’t look as good as the one you see here. This custom Z06 was created by Esoteric Auto Detailing, and not only features a new exterior finish, but wheels, exhaust, and a tune. It’s for sale on eBay for a cool $132,995.

The car was used as a promotional and marketing tool for the company throughout 2016. It wears a special finish developed by Esoteric that increases image quality of the factory red paint job by over 95 percent thanks to a 100-plus hour detail, and a protective coating that assures it stays that way.

The company is able to measure the vehicle’s exterior image quality by using a special Distinctness of Image (DOI) tool that shows how much the finish has improved with the enhancements. The gloss on the painted panels was increased from 56 to 93.4, for example, while the RIQ jumped up from 88.4 to 95.8, and the RSPEC went from 46.9 to 93.5. They even went so far as to remove and polish the black plastic finish on the seats.

Other features on this car include a set of HRE P101 wheels, an Akrapovic exhaust system, a lowered suspension, SunTek film, and Gyeon coatings. Under the hood, the standard 6.2-liter supercharged V8 has been given a Lingenfelter tune. Performance is increased to 720 horsepower (536 kilowatt) and 730 pound-feet (538 newton-meter) torque, thanks to a new pulley, belt, filter, and tune.

With the special exterior finish and just 3,446 miles on the odometer, the car is ready to be “an award-winning show car,” says the company… or a monster at your local track day. If you’d like to order one brand new from Esoteric, it would cost you about $150,000 to replicate.
