It comes loaded with Cowboys badging, and even an autograph from Jerry Jones.
For more than two decades, Ford has been the official vehicle sponsor of the Dallas Cowboys. In order to mark that sponsorship anniversary, the company created a special edition F-150 that Cowboys and NFL fans alike should be excited for.
The Dallas Cowboys edition Ford F-150 will be limited to just 400 examples, and feature Cowboys logos and badging throughout. The foundation of this special edition is a standard F-150 in the XLT trim with the optional Chrome Package, painted in Cowboys helmet silver, and given the appropriate badging. On the exterior, the doors will wear the iconic Cowboys star logo, as will the door sills and the cargo box bed mat.
Other new features, aside from the badging, will be blue and white rocker panels, 20-inch chrome wheels with unique Cowboys center caps, laser-etched chrome foot plates with the legendary Cowboys word mark, and a “1 of 400” interior badge autographed by Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
The special edition truck not only commemorates Ford’s ongoing partnership with the NFL franchise, but also celebrates the opening of the Ford Center at The Star - a state-of-the-art training facility and 12,000-seat indoor stadium in Frisco, Texas.
“It has been 22 years since Ford and the Dallas Cowboys offered a Cowboys edition F-150,” said Greg Wood, Ford Dallas regional sales manager. “I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the opening of the Ford Center at The Star and the beginning of a new Cowboys season than to offer fans of both F-150 and the Dallas Cowboys the opportunity to purchase one of these incredible trucks.”
The special edition Ford F-150 is now on sale at a select number of Ford dealers throughout Texas.
