Toyota Land Cruiser FJ45LV
This 1967 FJ45LV hails from the beautiful state of Montana, where a previous owner stored it, along with a treasure trove of replacement parts. It was handed over to Miami-based, The FJ Company, for restoration where it will then be heading to its new home in Dubai.
Once acquired by a seasoned Toyota Land Cruiser collector, the shop began one of the most comprehensive and documented restorations of this model. Although fairly rusted, the photos reveal a donor that is largely in original condition. Most of the major components are there, including the original motor and transmission, others are being restored or reproduced to original specification.
With only 5,000 models produced between 1963 and 1967, the FJ45LV is something of an urban legend among collectors. Its unique body style also sets it apart from other classic Land Cruisers. Constructed by Gifu Body Co. Ltd., it consists of a metal suit, reinforced with numerous corrugations and a large rear overhang.
