Mini Cooper Cafe Racer Custom

Created by Ricardo and Ricardo, the owners at Cool & Vintage, this custom Mini Cooper sports a 'Cafe Racer' look. It's the first of two custom Minis being built by the group, and both will eventually duke it out on the streets of Lisbon.

The team started by taking the original 998cc 4-pot and replacing it with a 1300cc engine, which was rebuilt by English company Broadspeed. New Cooper S specification brakes were added to the front and rear to further improve on the original.

There are matching black Cooper S wheels and an RC40 exhaust with an LCB manifold. The project went even further in an effort to improve handling by adding adjustable A-Rods fitted with Gaz adjustable shocks. A John Alley sway bar was also thrown into the mix.

Additional changes include an aluminum radiator and a few cosmetic adjustments to give it a more vintage look. There's a period racing seat inside and spotlights on the bumper. The finished product looks fantastic, and to think there will be two of these beauties running around the streets of Lisbon.
