Dodge Challenger Hellcat X

The 2015 Dodge Hellcat is the most powerful production car in American history.

But being the fastest muscle car to ever roll out of Detroit was just the beginning for the Hellcat X Experimental Concept—the only twin-turbocharged AND supercharged Hellcat on earth. It pays homage to the U.S. Navy turbocharged and supercharged prototype XF6F Hellcat. The production version of this fighter scored a 19:1 kill ratio against enemy aircraft in World War II. Are you ready to win the Hellcat X?

Inspired by its spiritual ancestor, the Hellcat X features a twin-turbocharged and supercharged HEMI engine. It’s the most insane street machine you’ll ever drive. It starts with a 6.2L Hemi topped with an Eaton 2.3 liter roots-style supercharger. The compound boost experts at Walsh Motorsports fabricated the 62mm twin-turbo Hellion Power Systems setup. Can you handle the 805 horsepower and 800 lb-ft of torque this fighter-inspired Hellcat X puts to the throttle?

In stock trim, the production Hellcat launches from 0-60 mph in 3.6 seconds, flies down the quarter mile in 10.8 seconds, and is capable of a 199-mph land speed. So how much faster is the Hellcat X experimental? We will soon find out and share those numbers with you when this monster hits the track.

From front to rear, the unique features found on the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat X include aviation-inspired raw aluminum hood extractors, center hood scoop, accented front grille surround, hand-fabricated rear diffusor, and adjustable high-speed chin spoiler and decklid spoiler. The Hellcat X has callouts on the front fenders, the wheels, and the rear fascia. Inside the cockpit, you’ll find more high-performance imagery like embroidered Hellcat X callouts on seating surfaces and floor mats.
