Galaxy Lamborghini Aventador Roadster
2014 Galaxy Lamborghini Aventador Roadster
Not to be confused with a Ford Galaxy, the 2014 Galaxy Lamborghini Aventador Roadster wasn’t a special edition created in Italy. Rather, it was crafted in British Columbia in the city of Vancouver, Canada.
Its owner was a member of Vancouver’s Deluxe Super Club. He turned over the Galaxy Lamborghini Aventador Roadster to his fellow members to see what magic they could perform. Rumor suggests this may be the first Lambo ever to find itself cloaked in the stars of the Milky Way.
This 2014 Galaxy Lamborghini Aventador Roadster had the distinction of being the first sold in Canada. Its owner looked to the stars for inspiration on how to decorate it. The idea that came back was the hues of the galaxy.
Marcel Lech is a Vancouver photographer who specializes in creating pieces of art from automobiles suitable for framing. He crafted the photos of the 2014 Galaxy Lamborghini Aventador Roadster. As his talented eye shows, no detail was spared in its construction.
Those who have seen the 2014 Galaxy Lamborghini Aventador Roadster say the best way to appreciate it is by sitting in the driver’s seat (true of any Lamborghini) on a clear, starry night. You cast your eyes out the window and the stars envelop you on both sides. Then, you look up through the opening of the roof and Nature’s beauty continues overhead.
The roof itself is a piece of art, even without the stars wrapped around it. Constructed almost entirely from carbon fiber, the two-piece roof uses Lamborghini’s special materials technology including forged composite. Each piece of the roof weighs less than 4 lbs. and, easily removed, store in the forward compartment.
The extreme beauty of the 2014 Galaxy Lambo Aventador Roadster is matched by the performance of the V12 engine. It is rated at 700 horsepower.
