Pontiac Firebird Trans Am Ram Air IV
Pontiac built only 50 Ram Air IV-powered examples of its first-year 1969 Trans Am including 9 automatics, one very attractive example of which is offered here in this pristine hardtop coupe.
It is in truly as-new condition, having just emerged from a comprehensive frame-off restoration completed in June 2012, with only 10 miles since. Rated at 345 HP and a healthy 430 lb-ft of torque, the car’s 400 CI Ram Air IV engine is mated to a Turbo automatic and heavy duty rear end, all original to the car and all matching numbers.
This is simply one of the best Ram Air IV 1969 Trans Am Firebirds in existence.
