Throughout 2015, Indian Motorcycle plans to unveil a series of custom Indian Scouts that will be designed and crafted by some of America’s leading custom bike builders. Each of the designs will celebrate a different important Indian Scout milestone since the company’s debut back in 1920. To start the series off, the first tribute will be the 2015 Custom Military Scout. Base MSRP $10,999

Designed and built by world-renowned custom builder Klock Werks Kustom Cycles of Mitchell, South Dakota, the Military Scout is built on the award-winning 2015 Indian Scout platform. It sports a matte green paint job indicative of a vintage United States military motorcycle, perfectly applied by Brad Smith of The Factory Match. Taillights utilized from a modern street legal reproduction are designed to mimic the original military-style taillights. Leather saddlebags, a Klock Werks “Klassic” seat kit and leather wraps are all upholstered using matching leather hides. In front of the windscreen, a custom gun scabbard mount hold a Thompson sub-machine gun that has a custom gunstock designed by Boyd’s Gunstocks of Mitchell, South Dakota. The design features SD etched with both the USO and Indian Motorcycle logos.

Brian Klock, founder of Klock Werks, stated “Klock Werks Kustom Cycles is honored to partner with Indian Motorcycle on a project that pays tribute to the USO and their outstanding work on behalf of the dedicated men and women of our U.S. Armed Forces. Indian Motorcycle has a long and impressive legacy of supporting the U.S. military dating back to WWI and all of us at Klock Werks are humbled to play a role in this important and historic endeavor.”
