Infiniti QX80

Over the years, SUVs have only gotten bigger and bigger, and king amongst these beasts is the all-new 2015 Infiniti QX80. The WX80 is unlike anything on the road, with its subtle tweaks from last year’s model, it is flashier looking with a more in-your-face personality than its competitors. If you were to compare cars to animals, the QX80 would be an elephant while a Navigator is a cow.

One thing that makes the QX80 seem so massive is the SUV’s height. Featuring 9.2 inches of ground clearance, the QX80 is the definition of an off-roading vehicle, especially since it is also equipped with 4x4 and a two-speed transfer case. At 208.9 inches long, the QX is also longer than its competitors, with the exception of the long-wheelbase models. The extra length, height, and raised seating positions all add to the monstrous feeling of this car. New LED headlights and taillights really set the exterior apart from the previous models. Massive 22-inch wheels match the size of the car perfectly.

The interior of the QX80 is covered in leather and wood trim. The center stack is where all of the control buttons are located so the driver does not have to do much searching for the controls while driving. Plenty of headroom and legroom will ensure that all of the occupants are comfortable during drives. Infiniti’s Distance Control Technology (DCA) brings the QX80 out of the Stone Age. The QX80 is even equipped with radar-based adaptive cruise control and Lane Assist.

The QX80 is fitted with one of the largest engines that Infiniti produces, the 5.6-liter V8. This massive engine makes 400 horsepower and produces 413 lb-ft of torque. The Infiniti’s drivetrain combination provides decent amounts of thrust at any RPM. Top speed is limited to 140 mph.
