Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse

2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse

The 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse, which had its world premiere at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, was described as an attempt by the Italian manufacturer to deliver the emotions of the track to the daily driving experience.

This Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse is pegged as the most extreme model to wear the Gallardo name, which is no mean feat. It is based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo, the successful race car from the Lambo Blancpain Super Trofeo, the world’s fastest one-make series.

Just its name demonstrates the racing roots of this Lamborghini. It is inspired by the manufacturer’s internal department that manages all of its far-flung motorsport competition teams.

Lambo Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse is yet another example of the company’s increased use of carbon composite material to shed weight while helping to enhance performance. It can be found on the rear wing and the hood. Used in conjunction with aluminum, it helps make this a lightweight vehicle.

As with other Lamborghinis, the interior of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse relies heavily on lightweight carbon fiber and Alcantara. The latter is used extensively on the underside of the dashboard. It can also be found on the center segment of the seat cushions and seat backs. Carbon fiber finds it way to the door panels, the racing seats, and center console cover.

With its focus on bringing the exhilaration of racing to open road touring, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Squadra Corse has a V10 engine with no modifications that is inspired by the racing side of Lamborghini. The V10 engine generates 570 horsepower, which is fully available at 8,000 rpm.

Its rear racing wing is capable of achieving three times the load of the 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4. That helps it be driven at higher speeds with tighter handling. Just to continue that whole racing vibe, the Squadra Corse also has an engine hood with quick release handles.
