BMW M3 Lime Rock Park Edition
When it comes to building special edition versions of cars, BMW is no novice. The 2013 BMW M3 Lime Rock Park Edition was created as a tribute to the fabled Lime Rock Park racing circuit, which is located in Connecticut.
This special edition model costs $10,000 more than a standard M3 and will be limited to only 200 units ever to be built, meaning that the price of these will surely appreciate.
The BMW M3 Lime Rock Park Edition will feature a bright Fire Orange paint job and because this special edition comes with the competition package, that means it will come with the 19” Style 359M silver wheels. Other noticeable exterior features are a carbon fiber rear deck spoiler, carbon fiber front lip splitters, and carbon fiber roof panel. A lightweight, Inconel-titanium exhaust system gives this M3 its roar. Finally, a Lime Rock Park circuit sticker located behind the driver’s side window gives a subtle hint to other drivers of what your M3 is all about.
Inside the belly of the beast, BMW have not taken away from the luxurious interiors that BMW customers are accustomed to. An added a flat-bottom steering wheel wrapped in Anthracite Alcantara with a blue index stripe makes this a more track-focused BMW M3. More Anthracite and black cloth adorn the manual-adjustment seats with Nappa Leather trim. The rest of the interior is trimmed with carbon and leather throughout the cabin.
The heart of the 2013 BMW M3 Lime Rock Park Edition remains the same 4.0-liter V8 as standard M3s, producing a whopping 414 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. With the 7-speed DCT transmission, this M3 does 0-60 mph in just 4.5 seconds and hitting a limited top speed of 155 mph.
