Lexus IS F CCS-R Race Car

The Lexus IS F CCS-R Race Car will compete in the 2012 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on July 8, 2012.

Underneath the hood features a 5.0L V8 engine producing a maximum output of 416 hp @6,600 rpm. The IS F CCS-R Race Car's curb weight is a total of 3,087 lbs., which is 693 lbs. less than stock. The transmission is a 8-speed Sport Direct Shift automatic with paddle shift and manual mode.

The exterior of the IS F CCS-R Race Car features an orange mica paint, reinforced monocoque (with roll cage), carbon fiber hood, door handles, front fender, front spoiler, front canard, rear spoiler, ventilator, polycarbonate windows and lightweight doors.

The interior consists of a carbon fiber dashboard, center console, door and interior trim. The seats are HANS bucket seats consisting of a six-point seat belt. The steering wheel has been changed to a small-diameter steering wheel with paddle shifters. The whole interior of the IS F CCS-R has been lightened with the removal of power windows, door locks, rear seats the roof lining and more.

The Lexus IS F CCS-R Race Car has updated and modified wheels, tires, brakes, suspension, racing exhaust system and racing equipment.
