Ford Custom Convertible
Ford brought inspired design, excellent finish and improved handling to its 1950 lineup, all of which are evident in this beautifully restored Custom convertible, which won First Prize in the 2011 Bandera Texas Classic Car Show on the strength of its Red-on-Black color scheme and such period touches as fender skirts and a Continental kit. Fully converted to a 12-volt electrical system, it retains its original flathead V-8 engine and has been given a new carburetor, fuel lines, electric fuel pump, brakes, brake lines, master cylinder, electric convertible top motor, exhaust manifold, radiator and fan, and individual temperature gauges to monitor both engine banks.
