JE Design Volkswagen Golf V Plus

Volkswagen has launched a more spacious version of the current Golf V and therefore gave it the affix "Plus". JE DESIGN has a rather different understanding of "Plus". Because the VW tuning specialist from Leingarten lent the van-like vehicle added performance and improved looks.

The linchpin of the "Plus" activities is the boost in output of the 2.0 TDI engine. It now boasts a solid 130 kW (176 PS) output instead of 103 kW (140 PS). The torque has increased from 85 Nm to 405 Nm. These modifications to the engine management of course lead to improved road performance: 210 km/h top speed (Series: 201 km/h) and from 0 to 100 in 8.9 seconds (Series: 9.9) leave no room for doubt!

The somewhat simple appearance is pepped up by headlamp visors. A front spoiler makes the Golf Plus look all the more sporty. The side skirts for the time being complete the body modifications.

As far as the rims are concerned, the customer is spoilt for choice. JE DESIGN offers nine different designs or versions ranging in size between 17 and 19 inches. The highlight of the range of the complete "Multispoke" wheelset, measuring 8.0 x 19 ET 45, with 225/35 R 19 Y tires. The wheelset is also available in chrome. Those who don't like to lay it on so thick can also order the "Multispoke" rims in 17 and 18-inch versions.

Sporty appearance without modifying the chassis, sound and brakes? Not at JE DESIGN! Sports suspension drops the Golf Plus by approx. 35 mm. If desired, the lag can be counteracted by a 4-piston sports brake system (330 x 28 mm) on the front axle. Its brake disks are perforated and delivery includes brake calipers, clamps, attaching parts, sports brake pads, steel brake cables and TÜV (MOT) parts inspection. Finally, the JE DESIGN stainless steel rear silencer system with two 90-mm left and right-hand tail pipes is the icing on the tuning cake.
