Hennessey Cadillac CTS-V Coupe VR1200 Twin Turbo

Hennessey is producing a 2013 VR1200 Twin Turbo Coupe, limited to just 12 vehicles and hosting major improvements to the engine, drivetrain and suspension. Power has been upgraded to 1,226 bhp @ 6,400 rpm (1,066 Rear Wheel HP) and 1,109 lb-ft torque @ 4,000 rpm (964 Rear Wheel Torque). Those numbers translate to 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, while the 1/4 mile flashes by in 10.2 seconds @ 141 mph, going on to a top speed of 242 mph.

The VR1200 Twin Turbo Upgrade includes the following upgrades: A 427 CID (7.0L) Aluminum V8 engine, with upgraded internals including forged aluminum pistons, forged steel connecting rods, forged steel crankshaft, balanced and blueprinted rotating assembly, ARP main studs and head bolts, high flow cylinder heads, and a Hennessey VR1200 Camshaft. The fuel system has also been upgraded with larger fuel injectors, new lines, rails, regulator, and pump.

The twin turbo setup makes use of two twin ball bearing billet wheel precision turbochargers, dual wastegates, an adjustable boost control (800, 1000 & 1226 HP power settings), a stainless steel turbo downpipes and exhaust system, an air-to-water intercooler, and a high-flow air induction system.

Transmission & drivetrain upgrades include a Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch for the manual, and a $20,000 performance build with torque converter for the automatic. Both models come with an Extreme Duty CV shaft upgrade.

All of the above upgrades are professionally installed with HPE engine management calibration as well as dyno and road testing. Hennessey also offers exterior badging, serial-numbered dash & engine plaques
and a three year, 36,000 mile limited warranty.

Upgrades to the suspension and Brembo brake system incude 15.1 inch carbon ceramic rotors (front & rear), and eight piston (front), six piston (rear), upgraded front and rear swaybars, factory Magnetic Ride Control tuned by John Heinricy, and a one inch lower ride height. Wheel and tire upgrades feature Hennessey Wheels 20x10 inch (Front) and 20x13 inch (Rear), wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires: 275/30YR-20 (Front); 345/30YR-20 (Rear).
