Lamborghini Indomable Concept by Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa

The Lamborghini Indomable is a production concept based on the Lamborghini Gallardo. It’s inspiration was taken from stealth jetfighters like the F22 Raptor. Soft transitions between the surfaces with hard cuts are the main design cues.

The front features Lamborghini's brand character. There are two rectangular intakes in the front. Instead of the radiators, these work as intakes for the brakes. The radiators are in the center of the car.

The engine cover is inspired by the functional system of the F22. It has mobile doors with a zig-zag assembly pattern as part of the design. There is a “Y” shape in the center that shows the the V10 engine.

The side view shows an abstraction of a folded wing. This element gives the feeling that the car is ready for action, like a jetfighter waiting for take off from a carrier.

The back of the car has a rear light which is also a wing. Inside the transparent cover are honeycomb shape LED lights. There is also a big diffuser that stands out from the other parts.

The design was developed for the Master course at SPD – Milano by Daniel Chinchilla Ochoa and Alberto Fernandez Albilares under the guidance of Filipo Perini, head of the Centro Stile and Alessandro Salvagnin designer of Lamborghini.
