Not everyone wants to make a major statement with a big and bold Cayenne conversion, particularly when it is a practical daily driver, and perhaps the very popular Diesel.

However, the decision to choose even a Cayenne Diesel means that you are interested in driving a distinctive car, so the relatively subtle GEMBALLA GT AERO 1 modular styling package should appeal.
Like all GEMBALLA aerodynamic components, the AERO 1 Kit is ‘Made in Germany’ from light and strong carbon-fibre, and the modular concept means that you can buy the parts individually.

All AERO 1 components are direct replacements for the original parts, and fit to the factory mounting points. “This means they can be installed quickly and later removed if required when the vehicle is sold,” explained GEMBALLA chief, Andreas Schwarz.

The AERO 1 front bumper/spoiler gives the Cayenne’s more gravitas, which the slightly larger second-generation car seems to lack compared to its predecessor.

The visually lower look that the new front bumper/spoiler confers is underlined by the side skirts and deeper rear bumper, which perfectly frames the twin exhaust outlets.

The five thin spokes of the elegant 22-inch diameter, ultra-light, forged alloy wheels make them look larger in diameter than they really are, and this helps the proportions of the Cayenne by making it appear smaller.

As these 22-inch wheels are no heavier than the 20-inch factory wheels, GEMBALLA’s objective to improve performance with no weight penalty has been met.

The AERO 1 conversion is the first step in GEMBALLA’s tuning program for the new Cayenne, and opens the door to a much wider customer base for whom a full house body conversion with engine tuning is simply a bridge too far.
