Chevrolet Corvette 327/365 Roadster
The second generation Corvette is a stylistic and performance icon that four decades later continues to evoke dreams of stoplight glory, in all its roadster and coupe iterations. Chief Engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov was largely responsible for this performance image, and although it was advertised as both a luxurious and comfortable sports car that offered outstanding levels of performance, its racetrack successes, particularly with the awe-inspiring Grand Sport cars, helped make these cars the envy of sports car enthusiasts everywhere.
This car was auctioned off by RM Auctions in June of 2010 at the Town and Country Resort & Convention Center, San Diego, California.
