MG NA Magnette Special

First registered in East Sussex early in 1935 as NJ 6218, this car is an excellent example of a prewar competition MG Magnette. One of just 745 N-series Magnettes built during the mid-1930s, it is very similar to the MG Car Company’s famous competition machines like the K3 and NE.

This car was auctioned off by RM Auctions in January of 2011 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, Phoenix, Arizona.

56 bhp, 1,287 cc ohc inline six-cylinder engine, four-speed manual transmission, solid front axle and live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel mechanical drum brakes. Wheelbase: 96".
