Pontiac 6-27 Series
GM’s Oakland division introduced the first Pontiac nameplate, called the "Pontiac Chief of Sixes," at the New York Auto Show. Powered by a six-cylinder engine, it was designed to create a new rung on the price ladder between Chevrolet and Oldsmobile and was built largely from components designed and engineered for Chevrolet.
This car was auctioned off by RM Auctions in October of 2010 at the Hershey Lodge, Hershey, Pennsylvania.
