Austin-Healey 3000 MK II

The Austin-Healey 3000, a British icon in league with the finest sports car of its day, was built from 1959 to 1968 and proved a tremendously successful racing car in numerous European rallies, winning countless class victories. The cars were assembled at the BMC Abingdon works facility after the coachwork was produced by Jensen Motors, Ltd. of West Bromwich in England.

This car was auctioned off by RM Auctions in January of 2010 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, Phoenix, Arizona and in January of 2011 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, Phoenix, Arizona.

132 bhp, 2,639 cc inline six cylinder engine with three SU carburetors, four speed overdrive transmission, independent front with wishbones, coil springs, lever arm shock absorbers and anti-sway bar, rear suspension by live axle and leaf springs, and front Girling disc brakes. Wheelbase: 92"
