BMW M3 Convertible
The whole package of beauty and performance from a BMW M3 combined with the pure enjoyment of the fresh air and wind in your hair. The 2011 BMW M3 Convertible features a hard top convertible, flawlessly blending with beautiful lines of the M3. Compared to the base M3 coupe, the convertible weighs around 200 pounds more because of the convertible mechanisms required.
Upon first glance, the BMW M3 Convertible looks nearly identical to the base coupe. Everything up to the window line is the same, but the roof must be split in sections in order for the convertible mechanism to work. Just like the base coupe, the convertible is offered in eight exterior colors from BMW or a range of many more from BMW Individual. Available options include 19” forged alloy wheels and electronic damping control. The 2011 BMW M3 has added LED taillights to both the coupe and convertible models, as well as an available Competition Package for the first time.
Standard equipment on the interior of the BMW M3 Convertible include leather front and rear seats, a leather steering wheel, and multiple power steering and throttle control modes. Different options and packages are available and range from various trim selections, different types and colors of leather, and other electronic options. The Premium Package offers Novillo Leather for the seats and trim, BMW M3 Assist with Bluetooth, and 14-way power seats with lumbar and power tilt, and M Drive.
The M3 features a hand-built, high compression 4.0-liter V8 that delivers an impressive 414 horsepower and produces 295 lb-ft of torque. The 2011 BMW M3 Convertible accelerates to 60 in just 4.7 seconds with the BMW Dual Clutch Transmission. The BMW M3 has an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.
