Aston Martin Rapide Luxe
Following the launch success of the Rapide, Aston Martin introduces the Rapide Luxe affording customers greater personalization using the finest materials and a wider color palette. The Luxe standardizes popular options and adds highly desirable functional features to the specification.
The Rapide, Aston Martin’s first production four-door sports car, was launched in February 2010 to critical acclaim by international media. Initial customer demand has surpassed expectation with over half the annual allocation being sold within just two months of the launch.
Signature features of the Rapide Luxe are exclusive polished 20” 20-spoke alloy wheels. The polishing process lasts 90 minutes for each separate wheel involving seven separate machines. It is this attention to detail that creates a unique look to the Rapide’s exterior finish.
Enhancing the visual and tactile feel of the Rapide Luxe’s interior are glass control switches including buttons for Park, Reverse, Neutral and Drive, a unique ‘Rapide Luxe’ sill plaque, and a bespoke six piece luggage set tailored in leather color options from the Fast Track and Contemporary color ranges.
The Luxe specification standardizes some of the more popular options including Rear Seat Entertainment. This adds two 6.5 inch LCD screens into the back of the front headrests optimally positioned at eye-level, a six disc DVD multi-changer, auxiliary inputs for gaming consoles or other portable media devices and wireless headphones treating passengers to a rich audio visual experience. Also included are the cooled front and rear seats option with three temperature settings, secondary glass key, and garage door opening mirror.
