Ferrari Dino 246 GT

The first production Dino, the 206 GT, appeared in 1967 at Turin. It was the first mid-engine Ferrari production car, marking the debut of a new Ferrari-based Dino brand. For 1969, the Dino received an enlarged engine, and its reported 146-mph top speed quickly impressed enthusiasts. With production of only about 2,700 GT coupes through 1974, the 246 Dino GT has enjoyed increasing collector interest.

This car was auctioned off by RM Auctions in January of 2011 at the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa, Phoenix, Arizona.

195 bhp, 2,418 cc mid-mounted V-6 engine with four overhead camshafts and three twin-choke Weber carburetors, five-speed manual transaxle, four-wheel independent suspension, and four-wheel hydraulic disc brakes. Wheelbase: 92.1".
