Ferrari 500 Superfast
The Ferrari 500 Superfast contained one of the most powerful engines in a passenger car in at the time. The 4962 cc V12 was capable of moving the 500 over 170 miles per hour, making it one of the fastest production cars of the time.
The Ferrari 500 Superfast was introduced at the Geneva Auto Show in 1964 and was considered by many to be the iconic ending to Ferrari's America series. Only 37 were built and the cost in 1964 was $19,000.
