From Renault press: In the wake of its fellow Renault models Twingo and Modus, it is Clio's turn to feature even fresher appeal this spring. Evolutions cover both exterior styling and interior trim changes for all equipment levels, including additional chrome, extra style and brighter looks! Like Twingo and Modus, the catalogue incorporates two new versions – Yahoo! and Night&Day – and the range is topped by the XV de France and Initiale versions. There is also a brand new Business eco² version which claims CO2 emissions of just 94g/km for the five-door model.
The special Yahoo! version was developed in association with the famous web search engine specialist of the same name. This attractively-priced version targets young drivers thanks to a connectivity package which will allow them to listen to their favourite music on the move, while at the same time staying in touch with friends.
Other equipment includes an 80W radio-CD with MP3 playback, Bluetooth® and Plug&Music connectivity, plus an audio streaming function which permits MP3-format music stored on smart phones to be played wirelessly. A 3G dongle is provided to enable easy, immediate access to the internet via a laptop computer (200Mo or 30 days, depending on which threshold is reached first). The specific interior features special Yahoo! upholstery and White Lacquer styling details (door handles, air vents).
The Night&Day version of Clio places the emphasis on chic styling and includes extra-tinted rear glass, Dark Metal exterior styling details and a carefully-appointed interior. In addition to its specific TEP/fabric upholstery and dashboard with visible stitching, the air vents, dashboard trim, centre fascia and door handles are all picked out in Gloss Black. This version supersedes the former Dynamique TomTom equipment level.
