Bertone Lamborghini Marzal
From Bertone press: Introduced at the 1967 Paris Show, the Lamborghini Marzal presented an unconventional design punctuated by large glass areas. The 2 litre, 6 cylinder in-line engine, was derived from the V12-cylinder unit from the Lamborghini Miura, which is mounted at the rear, in the transverse position. The design of the doors give the car’s main stylistic features, helping to harmonize the volumes at the front and rear in an attractive style. It’s visual strength is characterized by the absolute novelty of the revolutionary relationship between sheet metal surfaces and glass transparency. The Marzal previews the styling of the future Lamborghini Espada.
