2010 Lamborghini Reventón

The 2010 Lamborghini Reventon bills itself as a super car without equal. That may not be that far off the mark for this limited edition masterpiece that is constructed to demanding specification.

The 2010 Reventon Lamborghini was the first model from the Italian automaker to benefit from an all-new carbon fiber exterior. They all came in the same exterior color that could be best described as a matte gray. It was described by some as mid-opaque gray without a shine.

The 2010 Lamborghini Reventon was the first of the line to have Audi design language incorporated into it. The new parent company made sure the Lambo used the daytime running lights that were part of the headlights. There were seven LEDs that flanked the bi-xenon main beams. They stayed lit while the engine was running.

These LEDs had their own challenges in the rear part of the car where the heat could get intense. Special heatproof LEDs had to be developed. They were used for the turn signals and emergency flashers. They also saw service in the brake lights and rear lights.

Three TFT liquid crystal displays – each with 2 different display modes – form the instrument panel in the Reventon Lamborghini Roadster. An interesting touch is they are encased in a solid aluminum block surrounded by a carbon fiber casing.

The 2010 Lambo Reventon is powered by a V 12-cylinder engine with 670 horsepower and 486 lb. ft. of torque. It has a six-speed e-gear automatic transmission or a six-speed manual transmission. It has a recorded top speed of 221 mph, set at a track in Dubai.

Another track feature found inside is the "g-force-meter." It measures the gravitational pull of the 2010 Lamborghini Reventon. You’ll find yourself driving curves and slaloms as fast as possible to see the g-force meter rise higher.
