The name Officine Stampaggi Industriali (OSI) probably doesn’t ring any bells. It was an Italian coachbuilding firm founded in 1960 as a branch of Ghia, with a focus on the unique. The company worked its creative magic on cars from companies like Alfa Romeo and Fiat in its short lifespan, but maybe none more loved or recognized than the 20M TS Coupe.
Less than 2,200 20M TS Coupes were ever built, all of which based on the German Ford Taunus 20M. Only 170 are known to still exist, with only five of those examples residing in the U.S. So finding a survivor doesn’t come easy (or cheap).
But this recently restored example is up for grabs on eBay, and it’s stunning.
Though not completely original, it retains that classic charm. Willwood disc brakes, new chrome and stainless steel, and an adjustable coilover suspension are just some of the modern components added to this classic. Not forgetting the engine, a 400-horsepower V8 paired to a 5-speed Tremec gearbox.
As far as looks go, this thing is a stunner. The exterior has been carefully restored, taking into consideration the new chrome and stainless steel bits, while new wheels and tires give it a more modern feel and drive.
The interior is coated in a classy diamond-stitched leather and suede, while the dash, steering wheel, and shift knob come finished in wood.
With over $90,000 invested, the buyer won’t let this one go for less than $70,000. Current bid sits at just $40,100 (per this writing), but expect it to go much, much higher than that.
