If you have loads of cash, there are all sorts of options out there when it comes to buying a boat. You could choose a powerboat, or a cigarette boat, or go old school and get a sailboat. But when neither the mentioned three are exactly up to snuff, there are always more exotic choices—like this transforming watercraft from Kormaran. This engineering wonder morphs depending on how you want to use it at any given moment. It measures 23-feet long and performs its transformations with the press of a button. No fancy gears or levers need to be operated with the Kormaran. RELATED: See Photos of the 1978 Tupolev N007 Gullwing Boat
According to the company, the hull changes even while it's moving to suit the conditions of the water into one of six modes. It functions as a monohull, katamaran, and trimaran as well as featuring a bathingmode, flightmode, and nightmode. It's like some sort of crazed Transformer built for the water.
The Kormaran will hit speeds of up to 38 knots, or roughly 44 mph. Pricing hasn't been announced, but you can add your name to the list over at Kormaran if you think you've got the kind of cash this type of toy fetches.
