Take a Good Look at the New 2017 Porsche Panamera
The 2017 Porsche Panamera made its world premiere in Berlin this Tuesday in grand style. This second generation of the Porsche sports sedan is completely new, and offers the performance characteristics of a sports car with all the comforts of a luxury sedan. The sedan was first launched back in 2009 and sold 150,000 units before the redesign. Today, it still looks like a Panamera, but with an updated design, new technologies, and a new engine. Under the hood there's a choice of two engines. The Panamera Turbo comes with a 550-horsepower twin-turbo V8, while the Panamera 4S features a 440-horsepower twin-turbo V6. All-wheel drive is standard on both trims. RELATED: See More of the 2017 Porsche Panamera
New features include three-chamber air suspension, rear axle steering, and the new electronic 4D Chassis Control chassis management system. Additional new technologies provide improved comfort and improved safety.
Technology gets a boost with the Porsche Advanced Cockpit, which includes a smartphone-style user interface and configurable LED screens. Enhanced connectivity is also a part of the new Panamera with the new Porsche Communication Management System. Customers will be able to remotely access select vehicle functions through a new smartphone app, too.
And if that's not enough for you, the Panamera can lap the Nurburgring in just 7:38 (with the right driver behind the wheel). Get you some of that.
