New Porsche 911 Project by TechArt Sounds as Good as it Looks

TechArt has introduced its new Techtronic Powerkit for the Porsche 911 Carrera S and 911 Turbo S, giving both cars an extra boost in power. With the mentioned Powerkit installed, the two cars will have quicker 0-60 mph times, higher top speeds, and more torque, just adding to the already present performance found in the 911. For about $4,400, you can call up the guys at TechArt and have them bolt it on to your stock 911. Adding it to your 911 Turbo S will give it a bump to 631 horsepower and 649 lb-ft of torque. Install it on your Porsche 911 Carrera S, and you'll see a bump to 473 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque. RELATED: See More of the TechArt Porsche 911 Turbo S
That extra power means some impressive performance figures. The Turbo S will go from 0-62 mph in just 2.7 seconds (2.8 seconds for the Cabrio model). It also gets a new top speed of 210 mph. The Carrera S sees its numbers jump too, with a new top speed of 192 mph. The power kit can be turned off or on through a simple driver switch. It will work in either normal, sport, or sport plus modes and operates with either the sport button located on the center console or with the selector on the steering wheel. But what if you want to go all in on power and looks? TechArt will be more than happy to accent that power with some aggressive new aerodynamics. A front splitter, a rear spoiler, and a carbon air outlet are just some of the features added to the exterior look. All said and done, the final product is something that is sure to draw a crowd at your next cars and coffee event. RELATED: See Images of the 1967 Porsche 911
