Bugatti Chiron Could Push 290 MPH
The Bugatti Chiron is set to replace the Veyron and reports are beginning to surface about what we can expect from this new Bugatti. It is set to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show this March with a possible 290 mph stop speed. According to Carscoops, the Chiron will post this number thanks to a 1,500-horsepower engine with 1,107 lb-ft of torque. That engine is a quad-turbocharged 8.0-liter W16 with electric assistance thrown in for good measure. RELATED: Bugatti Chrion Crash Test Mule Leaked
How fast will the Chiron move? The car will post a 0-60 mph time of 2.2 seconds, which will make it .3 seconds faster than the Veyron Super Sport. Production numbers on the Veyron were just 450 units, but the Chiron is set to see 500 units. There are already orders for 130 so don't hold out if you're thinking of driving one of these home.

Bugatti will also be speeding production of this one to 100 units per year to double the pace at which Veyron's rolled off the line. Still, that means the first year's worth of these is already sold. With a rumored price tag of $2.19 million, that year should give you just enough time to save enough cash.
