Schmitz is no stranger to Top Gear having appeared on a 2004 episode in which she beat Clarkson in a race. Her nickname is Queen of the Nürburgring for the many times she's lapped the German race course, including in the BMS M5 "Ring Taxi." She is a professional driver for both BMW and Porsche.
